Transfers
Find professional guidance and assistance at Sharpshooters Indoor Range for firearm transfers. Our process is simple and streamlined. We ensure a smooth and compliant procedure while upholding responsible gun ownership and safety.
We do not accept NFA items at this time.
Type 1 Transfer fees: $65 Non-Members $35 Members
Serial number transfers include any item transferable exclusively with an ATF Form 4473 i.e. pistol, rifle, shotgun, receiver, etc, etc.
Missouri law has no provisions for a state firearms registry and Missouri also has no waiting periods for purchases.
Must be 21 Years of age for all transfers.
Please request the shipper include your full information so we can contact you when your item is ready for retrieval: Name, phone number, and email address.
Many times, the shipper will provide you with a tracking number and you will receive a delivery confirmation email. Although we may have the item on-site, we still have an acquisition process required by the ATF that must be completed to deliver your firearm. Rather than contact Sharpshooters Indoor Range when the delivery is confirmed, please wait until staff contacts you and advises that your item is ready for pick-up.
Sharpshooters will only submit a copy of our Federal Firearm License directly to the transfer’s origin, provided they also possess a Federal Firearms License. We will not provide a copy of our FFL directly to clients to forward. Please provide our email address, shaun@sharpshooterstl.com, for FFL requests. Please note Sharpshooters will not perform person-to-person transfers.
Once the firearms is received and you are notified, you have 30 days to pick-up your transferred item before storage fees apply. If you complete a 4473 form and it gets denied, you have 90 days to make an appeal before storage charges apply. If you choose not to appeal the denied status, you are responsible for fees associated with returning any item and providing a return label to the point of origin.
