ADVANCED HANDGUN SKILLS - 6 HOURS
(Minimum 5/Maximum 10 Students)
Prerequisites:
Basic Handgun Skills Course, NRA Basic Pistol Course or Concealed Carry Permit
Course Description:
Review of fundamentals of marksmanship, firearms safety and positions of fire. Instruction and live fire exercises including drawing and firing from a holster, night and low light fire, shooting from concealment/cover, and movement techniques.
Training Includes:
- Position of Fire
- Drawing and Firing from Concealment
- Position Shooting/Support
- Reloading
- Handling Malfunctions
- Target Transition
- Low Light Shooting
Required Items:
- Handgun with Holster
- Magazine/Ammo Pouch
- Three Magazines for Pistols/Two Speedloaders/Pouches for Revolvers
- Ammunition - 300 rounds
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Flashlight
